About the course
This 1 week course equips participants with the knowledge and tools to measure and manage greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Participants will learn how to calculate Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, define organisational and operational boundaries, and develop strategies to monitor, report, and reduce their company’s carbon footprint. By the end of the course, they will be able to apply cost-effective approaches to minimise emissions and support sustainability goals.
What you’ll learn
- Understand the business impact of Singapore’s rising carbon tax and its implications for operating margins and strategy.
- Assess your organisation’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and identify mitigation methods.
- Apply the GHG Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard to prepare a corporate-level emissions inventory.
- Phase 1 (Training): Learn to measure and account for Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, define organisational boundaries, and develop strategies for managing and reporting carbon emissions.
- Phase 2 (Project): Implement a company-level project, supported by RP trainers, to reduce carbon footprint.
- Build long-term capability by leveraging digital tools such as Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace for data automation and process streamlining.

Proficiency in English & has some prior knowledge in the operations of the organization
