About the course

The Zero Waste Manager Course is a 2-day course that aims to provide trainees with knowledge and skill sets to take on the role of a Zero Waste Manager. This course is designed for middle managers and/or supervisors holding full-time or concurrent roles in waste management and recycling within their premises. The trainee will be trained to carry out mandatory waste reporting and implementing 3R programmes for their organisation.

 

What you’ll learn

  • Describe waste issues, waste management policies and regulations
  • Understand Mandatory Waste Reporting and its requirements
  • Identify General Waste Collectors and types of waste
  • Understand 3R (Reduction, Reuse and Recycling) and implement 3R Programme(s)
  • Communicate waste management strategies effectively with all stakeholders

Minimum entry requirement

This course is designed for middle managers and/or supervisors holding full-time or concurrent roles in waste management and recycling within their premises who will / intend to take on the role of the Zero Waste Manager for their premise.
