About the course
This 2 days course introduces the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol and equips participants with the skills to measure and report Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. Participants will also learn how to set GHG reduction targets and prepare carbon reporting layouts aligned with international standards.
What you’ll learn
- Understand the principles of GHG/Carbon Accounting.
- Apply the General Reporting Protocol (GRP) to define organisational and operational boundaries.
- Calculate Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions using the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (World Resources Institute & WBCSD).
- Use The Climate Registry (TCR) to identify emission factors for equipment, machines, and vehicles.
- Learn to set GHG reduction targets in company reporting.
- Gain knowledge of the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for emissions reduction.
